The present invention provides a line blind valve which can reduce the weight of a blind by alternately using an open blind and a closing blind during the opening and closing of a pipeline, can reduce time required for opening and closing the pipeline, can prevent a dead space completely, and can realize a valve body, which can be designed conveniently and is compact, by granting a hermetic function only to the blind and a structure for fixing the blind. The valve installed between pipes to open or close a pipeline comprises: a valve body having opening parts formed at front and rear sides; a front seat formed toward the inside of the valve body from the opening part at the front side and a rear seat formed toward the inside of the valve body form the opening part at the rear side; an opening blind and a closing blind inserted and installed between the front seat and the rear seat, wherein the opening blind is installed during the opening of the pipeline and the closing blind is installed during the closing of the pipeline; and a gear unit for hermetically fixing the opening blind or the closing blind by pressurizing the opening blind or the closing blind toward the front seat while moving forward in screw combination with the rear seat. |
