PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having good high-rate durability.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 100 proposed here comprises: a positive electrode; and a negative electrode 60. The negative electrode 60 includes: a negative electrode current collector 62; and a negative electrode active material layer 64 held by the negative electrode current collector 62, and including graphite particles 66 as a negative electrode active material. The negative electrode active material layer 64 has in-particle pores 68b formed inside the graphite particles 66, and outside pores 68a formed outside the graphite particles 66. The ratio (A/B) of the total volume A of the outside pores 68a to the total volume B of the in-particle pores 68b satisfies: 1≤A/B≤5. |
