PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform plotting even when a failure occurs in the operation of a plotting part in an image data generation device for generating image data for allowing a display device to display an image.SOLUTION: A plotting device is configured to acquire application data obtained by executing an application (S120, S310), and to allow a preliminarily set shared GPU(Graphics Processing Unit) among a plurality of plotting parts for generating image data in accordance with input data to generate image data based on the application (S170), and to acquire information indicating that the shared GPU is in an abnormal state (S110), and to, when the information indicating that the shared GPU is in the abnormal state is acquired, allow a sub-GPU to generate the image data based on the application instead of the shared GPU (S340). Thus, it is possible to continue plotting by using the sub-GPU even when a failure occurs in the operation of the shared GPU. |
