<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation control apparatus configured to reduce power consumption, an image forming apparatus, and a fixation control method.SOLUTION: A fixation control apparatus includes: an image determination section which determines whether an image is included in each of areas when image data is divided into the areas; a heating body selection section which selects a heating body located in a position corresponding to the area including the image, out of a plurality of heating bodies; a power calculation section which calculates power consumption required for fixing the image data, on the basis of the selected heating body; and an image processing section which processes the image data. The image processing section determines whether to process the image data, on the basis of the calculated power consumption.</p> |
