PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device capable of properly detecting a touch position intended by a user, and a touch position detecting method and a program of a portable device.SOLUTION: A mobile phone 1 includes: a holding hand determination part 11a which determines whether a hand holding the mobile phone 1 is a left or right hand; and a touch position detecting part 11b which detects a touch position on a display 3 on the basis of a touch area detected by a touch detection part 14 and the holding hand determined by the holding hand determination part 11a. The touch position detecting part 11b detects a position near a boundary of the touch area apart from a thumb side of the hand as a touch position. |
