PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a high-performance red phosphor which can prevent oxidation of Mn.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a Mn-activated complex fluoride red phosphor represented by formula (I), AMF: Mn (I) (M is one type or more of a tetravalent element selected from Si, Ti, Zr, Hf, Ge, and Sn, and A is one type or more of an alkali metal selected from Li, Na, K, Rb, and Cs, and includes at least Na and/or K). In the method for producing the Mn-activated complex fluoride red phosphor, as raw materials, M-containing compound, A-containing compound and Mn-containing compound, M-containing compound and A- and Mn-containing compound, M- and A-containing compound and Mn-containing compound, or A- and Mn-containing compound and M- and A-containing compound are used, and the raw materials are mixed in a reactor tank in a liquid including hydrofluoric acid or a salt thereof and an AMF: Mn complex fluoride phosphor is crystallized. In that case, the raw materials include Mnas a main component and further include 0.5 to 10 at% of Mnand/or Mn. |
