PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately perform focus control in interval photography.SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 which performs interval photography for acquiring a plurality of pickup images photographed at predetermined photographic intervals includes: an imaging part 16; a photographic situation determination part 51; and an interval photography processing part 53. The imaging part 16 is configured such that focus can be controlled. The photographic situation determination part 51 determines the photographic state of the device. The interval photography processing part 53 controls the focus of the imaging part 16 such that a focus control method for each photography in the interval photography is changed in accordance with the photographic state of the device determined by the photographic situation determination part 51.
