PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular velocity sensor capable of reducing defective factors in a manufacturing process while reducing the size of a package of angular velocity sensor by means of resin seal.SOLUTION: The angular velocity sensor includes: a top cover having a first member and a second member; a lower cover connected to the top cover; and an oscillator which is disposed between the top cover and the lower cover. The oscillator has an oscillating part and a base part. The first member has a first part which is disposed in an area where the oscillating part and the top cover oppose to each other. The thickness of the first part is thinner than the thickness of the second member.
