PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for electrostatic coating excellent in coating efficiency and pot life. ! SOLUTION: There is provided a coating composition for electrostatic coating containing a hydroxyl group-containing resin (A), a polyisocyanate compound (B), a quaternary ammonium base-containing compound (C), and alkyl phosphate ester (D), and having the content of the quaternary ammonium base-containing compound (C) of 0.01 to 0.5 mass% based on the coating solid component, a blending ratio of the quaternary ammonium base-containing compound (C) and the alkyl phosphate ester (D) of quaternary ammonium base-containing compound (C)/alkyl phosphate ester (D)=0.5/1 to 10/1, and a volume resistivity value of 0.5 to 100 MΩ cm. !
