PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient vehicle transport system by a truck performing automatic operation on an expressway, and a new power network. ! SOLUTION: A light railroad track is laid on an expressway or the like as a passage for guiding, and a truck provided with metal wheels is caused to travel on the light railroad track. Electric power received from an external power source is introduced to a power transformer unit provided to the truck through a power collecting shoe provided to a charged rail and the truck, and the truck is driven by an electric motor. A vehicle is mounted on the truck, and the truck is caused to travel on the rail so as to transport the vehicle.
