PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the position relationship of a vehicle with an object with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A drive support method includes: detecting the position of the object which is present in the periphery of the vehicle and the outer shape of at least the object at the side of facing the vehicle; acquiring movement information related to a moving direction and a moving amount of the vehicle; estimating the relative position of the object to the vehicle on the basis of the detected object position and the acquired movement information; and further, generating a top-face view image viewed from upward of the vehicle and the object, on the basis of the vehicle outer shape, the object outer shape and the relative position of the object to the vehicle, to display the top-face view image on a display unit. |
