PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant detection device which inhibits wear and repeated stress in a through hole provided at a vehicle seat to make damage less likely to be caused and thereby enables long-term use.SOLUTION: An occupant detection device includes a sensor member 11, a connector 14 (14A to 14C) and a wiring member 12 (12A to 12C). The occupant detection device further includes: a first bending part 16 which bends the wiring member 12 extending from the connector 14; a wiring holding part 15 (15A to 15Q) which holds the wiring member 12 bent by the first bending part 16; and a second bending part 13 which bends the wiring member 12 extending from the wiring holding part 15 at the opposite side of the first bending part 16 to a direction opposite to a bending direction of the first bending part 16. The structure prevents the wiring member 12 from contacting with other members or minimizes the contact. Therefore, damage of the wiring member 12, which results from factors such as peeling, wear, and tangling, is prevented. |
