PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED illuminating device, a power supply device, a method of controlling the LED illuminating device, and an information providing system.SOLUTION: An LED illuminating device comprises: an LED array 208; a secondary battery 210 for operating the LED in a case where there is no supply of power from a commercial power supply; a voltage comparator 205 determining abnormality of the commercial power supply, and when the commercial power supply is normal, supplying a DC power converted from the commercial power supply to the LED, and when the commercial power supply is abnormal, supplying to the LED array 208 a DC power from the secondary battery 210 charged when the commercial power supply is normal; and a lighting controller 206 controlling the lighting of the LED array 208 in a pattern shape. In a case where the voltage comparison means 205 indicates that the commercial power supply is normal, the lighting controller 206 performs lighting control so that the LED array 208 provides a pattern. In a case where the voltage comparison means 205 indicates that the commercial power supply is abnormal, lighting control is performed so that the LED array 208 is used as an emergency lamp. |
