PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which reduces consumption of sheets and toners when the sheets and a restriction plate are erroneously set on a loading part for the sheets.SOLUTION: With respect to a sheet having a set size, at least one size among a plurality of sizes is set in a size groupe mode so that a size of a sheet detected by a width volume sensor 514 and sheet tray paper existence and absence sensors 516, 517 is used as a size of a sheet when an image formation operation is carried out. An image formation device includes a CPU 201 which so controls that when a size of the sheet detected by the width volume sensor 514 and the sheet tray paper existence and absence sensors 516, 517 is the size set in the size group mode, an image formation operation is carried out, and when such a size is not the size which is not set in the size group mode, the image formation operation is not carried out. |
