PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe for large current capable of maintaining a stable low-resistance contact without causing a distortion and a fatigue breakdown. ! SOLUTION: A probe 10 for large current is provided with a contact member 14 for electric conduction on a tip end part 13a of a base member 13 made of a conductor. The contact member 14 includes: a fixing part 14a fixed to a top end part 13a of the base member 13 in a contact state; and a plurality of leg parts 14c radially protruded from the fixing part 14a. When the contact member 14 is pressed to an analyte 30, the plurality of leg parts 14c is forced open and deformed by the analyte 30 so as to contact the analyte 30. The top end part 13a of the base member 13 is brought into contact with the analyte 30 when the contact member 14 is pressed to the analyte 30, and a stopper 15 for restricting the movement to the analyte 30 of the contact member 14 is protruded. !
