PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of being unable to further increase generation of a negative ion, due to being undesirable in efficiency, though air can be cleaned by using operation of corona discharge, in a conventional air cleaner. ! SOLUTION: The air cleaner is provided for adsorbing and collecting a floating substance in the air. The air cleaner can efficiently adsorb and collect dust, by forming a positive electrode of a conductive material composed of an oxide system glass pane including vanadium, barium, and iron, by oppositely arranging the positive electrodes 2 in substantially parallel to a flow of an ion wind, by arranging a metallic needle-like negative electrode 1 between these opposed glass pane-like positive electrodes 2, by discharging by impressing high voltage between the positive electrodes 2 of this conductive glass pane and the metallic needle-like negative electrode 1, by generating the ion wind by causing the corona discharge, by circulating ambient air by passing between |
