<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current limiter capable of reducing a recovery time as compared with conventional ones.SOLUTION: A current limiter 10 includes a primary coil 11 and a secondary coil 12. The secondary coil 12 is disposed to surround the central axis of the primary coil 11 and overlap with the primary coil 11, and has both ends which are short-circuited. The primary coil 11 comprises a first superconducting wire. The secondary coil 12 comprises a second superconducting wire. The electric resistance value in a non-superconducting state in the second superconducting wire is higher than the electric resistance value in a non-superconducting state in the first superconducting wire.</p> |
