The present invention relates to a filtration apparatus of a reverse osmosis membrane using alternative driving and a filtration method, wherein the filtration apparatus comprises: an iron manufacture sewage supply unit for supplying iron manufacture sewage; a pressure container including a plurality of reverse osmosis membrane modules; a first water inlet hole introduced with the iron manufacture sewage; a first water producing hole for discharging the filtered production water; a first concentrated water hole for discharging the concentrated water which is not filtered; a second water inlet hole introduced with the iron manufacture sewage; a second water producing hole for discharging the filtered production water; a second concentrated water hole for discharging the concentrated water which is not filtered; a first switching valve for controlling opening and shutting of the first water inlet hole and the first concentrated water hole; a second switching valve for controlling opening and shutting of the second water inlet hole and the second concentrated water hole; and a control unit for controlling the first switching valve and the second switching valve. According to the present invention, a filtration apparatus of a reverse osmosis membrane can effectively use a reverse osmosis membrane module by alternately drying a front end unit and a rear end unit.
