PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the control device and control method of a processor capable of resetting a processor when the processor is restored from a low current consumption operation mode to a normal operation mode.SOLUTION: A control device 11 of a processor 10 includes: a watch dog part 20 for, when a P-RUN signal from the processor 10 cannot be acquired in a predetermined time, resetting a processor 10; a current monitor part 19 for, when the output currents of a power supply part 18 which supplies power to the processor 10 become less than a predetermined value, stopping the operation of the watch dog part 20, and for, when the output currents become equal to or more than the predetermined value, starting the operation of the watch dog part 20; and a current amplification part 21 for, when acquiring a signal for allowing the processor 10 to start a normal operation mode, increasing the output currents to a predetermined value or more. |
