<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image communication apparatus that prevents a failure of a communication unit of the image communication apparatus caused by erroneous insertion of a line and prevents occurrence of a malfunction beforehand.SOLUTION: When a digital line such as a business phone is mistakenly inserted into a telephone line connection connector of an image communication apparatus having a facsimile communication function, line type determination is performed by a line diagnosis part 31. In a case of an analog line, a line connection is made possible. In cases other than the analog line, a connection is not established and a notification of the state is made to a user.</p> |
