<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for making it possible to immediately start charging a new vehicle regardless of existence of charging another vehicle or magnitude of power used by the other vehicle when the new vehicle is connected to a vehicle charge system capable of simultaneously charging a plurality of vehicles.SOLUTION: A vehicle charge system comprises a plurality of charge devices 2 and a determination unit 5 for determining power to be used by each charge device, as allowable power for the charge device, where communication is performed between the determination unit and each charge device. Each charge device includes a control unit 6 which transmits charge information on a connected vehicle 1 to the determination unit and transmits the allowable power determined by the determination unit to the vehicle. The determination unit grants first allowable power to a charge device to which a vehicle is not connected and second allowable power to each charge device to which a vehicle in a charge state is connected, where the first allowable power is determined on the basis of power necessary and sufficient for starting charging a vehicle newly connected to each charge device.</p> |
