PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an image read by a user operation which improves visibility of a preview image and improves operability.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes an image reading unit 110, a communication control unit 103, an image processing unit 102 and an image forming unit 120. The communication control unit 103 transmits an image read by the image reading unit 110 to an external portable terminal device 20 as a display destination of the image and receives a moving amount and a rotating amount of the image determined by the portable terminal device 20 on the basis of user operation. The image processing unit 102 applies moving processing of the moving amount and rotation processing of the rotating amount, the moving amount and the rotating amount being received by the communication control unit 103, to the image read by the image reading unit 110. The image forming unit 120 forms an image to which the image processing unit 102 has applied the moving processing and the rotation processing.
