PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a motor capable of suppressing the degradation of controllability of a rotation speed of the motor even when a command torque of the motor is limited.SOLUTION: A control device 11 applied to an MG 30 that is a drive source of a vehicle comprises: drive means for calculating a command torque of the MG 30 on the basis of a target rotation speed of the MG 30 and driving the MG 30 on the basis of the calculated command torque; and suppression means for suppressing the target rotation speed in accordance with a limit value of the command torque. The drive means includes following means for calculating a following torque from the amount of change of the target rotation speed per prescribed time and inertia of a rotor including the MG 30.
