PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A display unit 62 displays a plurality of objects 200 selected by a user on a single screen. A visual line detection unit 20 detects visual recognition coordinates 400 on the display unit 62 to which the visual line of the user is directed. An object visual recognition time calculation unit 110 calculates the time during which the visual recognition coordinates 400 detected by the visual line detection unit 20 have been present within the range of the objects 200. A selection exclusion unit 120 excludes the objects 200 from candidates of selection by the user when the time calculated by the object visual recognition time calculation unit 110 is longer than a time threshold and the frequency at which the objects 200 have been selected is higher than a frequency threshold 320.
