PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-pressure open type simple hot water heater capable of effectively utilizing a waste tire as a fuel.SOLUTION: A non-pressure open type simple hot water heater 1 includes a combustion furnace 3 having: a combustion furnace body 31 combusting a waste tire 2 and; a water jacket 4, and heats storage water of the water jacket 4 with combustion heat of the waste tire 2. The combustion furnace 3 includes: an input port 6; guide means 7 for guiding the waste tire 2 into the combustion furnace body 31; attitude auxiliary means 8 for bringing the side surface of the waste tire 2 into non-contact with the furnace bottom; ignition means 9; oxygen supply means 5; and discharge means 10 for discharging combustion exhaust to the outside of the combustion furnace 3.
