The present invention suggests an image display apparatus having a flexible display unit in a structure of pressurizing the flexible display unit to be bent. The image display apparatus of the present invention suggests includes: a flexible display unit formed to be bent by an external force between a first state and a second state which have different degrees of bending; a pole installed behind the left and right sides of the flexible display unit individually and extended in one direction to rotate around the direction of the extension; a pressurizing member installed on the pole to project toward the rear of the flexible display unit and rotating with the pole to apply an external force to the rear of the left and right sides of the display unit; and a driving unit connected to the pole to provide a driving force rotating the pole and adjusting rotational angles of the pole and the pressurizing members to control the degree of bending of the flexible display unit.
