PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood cell analyzer capable of outputting the highly reliable number of white blood cells even when a coagulation of white blood cells occurs in a measurement sample.SOLUTION: FSCP, FSCW, and FLP corresponding to each of particles are obtained from forward scattered light and fluorescent light emitted from the particles in a first measurement sample. Scatter grams SG11, SG12 are prepared based on the particles in the first measurement sample, and the particles contained in an area A10 are counted. When it is determined that a coagulation of the white blood cells is generated based on this counted value, the white blood cell count obtained based on the second measurement sample is outputted as an effective white blood cell count for a test body. On the other hand, when it is determined that the coagulation of the white blood cells is not generated in the first measurement sample on the basis of this counted value, the number of white blood cells obtained based on the first measurement sample is outputted as the effective number of white blood cells. |
