摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption of a hybrid electric vehicle while simplifying a system configuration thereof.SOLUTION: A monitoring data acquisition unit 11 acquires monitoring data from a secondary battery 9. An SOC estimation unit 12 estimates the SOC (State of Charge) of the secondary battery 9 on the basis of the acquired monitoring data. A mode determination unit 22 determines the operation mode of a motor on the basis of the estimated SOC and vehicle speed information. In a constant speed state, when the SOC exceeds a target value, the mode determination unit 22 sets an assist mode to assist travelling of the vehicle within a range not exceeding an assist upper limit speed, and when the SOC is equal to or smaller than the target value, it sets a constant speed charge mode to charge the secondary battery 9 by generating power at the motor using the rotation energy of wheels by constant speed travelling.
