PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct acting actuator that has high resistance to a radial load, can be driven by a small motor, and can be driven at a high speed. ! SOLUTION: A direct acting actuator according to the present invention comprises a guide rail 1, a first screw shaft 2, a second screw shaft 3, a first slider 4, a second slider 5, a first pulley 71, a second pulley 72, a first belt 73, a motor 9, a fourth pulley 91, and a second belt 92. A spline groove 22 is formed in an outer peripheral surface of the first screw shaft 2. The first and second sliders 4 and 5 comprise first through-holes 43 and 53 through which the first screw shaft 2 is inserted and second through-holes 44 and 54 through which the second screw shaft 3 is inserted. A spline nut 82 is rotatably supported at one axial end part of the first through-hole 43 of the first slider 4. The first pulley 71 and a third pulley 74 are fixed to the spline nut 82. !
