PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work positioning device and the like capable of accurately positioning a work when machining the work. ! SOLUTION: A machine tool 100 is equipped with a main shaft 10 for gripping a work 200; a work positioning device 40 for positioning the work 200 gripped by the main shaft 10; a loader device 50 for supplying the work 200 to the main shaft 10; a tool rest 60 provided in front of the main shaft 10, and installed with a tool for cutting and the like of the work 200; and a control device. The work positioning device 40 is equipped with a positioning pin 41, and moving means 42. While the positioning pin 41 is inserted in the work 200, the work 200 is pressed toward the positioning pin 41 by the moving means 42, thereby making a reference surface 230 of the work 200 abut on a positioning surface 41a of the positioning pin 41 to position the work 200. !
