PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device and relay system capable of implementing efficient Point to Point communication by using a PBB system.SOLUTION: A core switch device SWC including a virtual path table 26 and an address table selectively executes a PBB action and a virtual path action. The virtual path table 26 holds preset correspondence between a service instance identifier ISID and two ports of a plurality of ports. The address table holds correspondence between the plurality of ports and a capsulation address BMAC. The core switch device SWC relays a capsulation frame on the basis of the address table, in the PBB action; and relays a capsulation frame including a service instance identifier ISID held in the virtual path table 26 between two ports held in the virtual path table 26, in the virtual path action. |
