PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of executing printing by feeding a sheet having a size larger than that of the sheet specified.SOLUTION: A printer which feeds a sheet from a plurality of sheet feeding means and prints an image on the sheet fed includes: selection means for selecting among the plurality of feeding means sheet feeding means in which is set a sheet having a size larger than that of the sheet specified by the user, on the basis of the size of the sheet specified by a user; determination means for determining the amount of cutting on the basis of the size of the print specified by the user and the size of the sheet larger than that of the sheet specified by the user; and control means for performing a control such that a sheet is fed from the sheet feeding means selected by the selection means, and the sheet fed is cut on the basis of the amount of cutting determined by the determination means. |
