PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package that can prevent damage of a cartridge, and a method of recovering the cartridge.SOLUTION: Upon shipment of an unused development cartridge 1, the unused development cartridge 1 is packed in a packing box 61 and shipped in a state of being accommodated in a protective case 41 including a case body 42 and a lid 47. Upon recovery of an in-use or used development cartridge 1 which has reached replacement life, the development cartridge 1 which has reached replacement life is recovered without being packed in the packing box 61 in a state of being accommodated in the protective case 41. |
