The microlens array 30 includes a plurality of microlenses 31; a transmissive part 73 is formed in the device substrate 12; an opening 42 is formed in the light-shielding body 41 and the opening 42 of the light-shielding body 41 entirely overlaps the microlens 31 and the transmissive part 73 in a plan view; and the contour of the opening 42 of the light-shielding body 41 is similar to the contour of the microlens 31 in a plan view. In the light entering the device, allowable incident light that is incident on an incident angle within an allowable incident angle is transmitted through the opening 42 of the light-shielding body 41, while out-of-allowable incident light that is incident at an incident angle larger than the allowable incident angle is at least partially blocked by the light-shielding body 41.
