PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for coating a fiber ply cord capable of adding good conductivity to even pneumatic tire having low fuel consumption and lightweight structure, a rubber for coating the fiber poly cord, a pneumatic tire using the same and a manufacturing method of the rubber composition for coating the fiber ply cord.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition for coating a fiber ply cord containing a rubber component containing isoprene rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber, conductive carbon black having dibutyl phthalate oil absorption amount of 300 ml/100 g or more with the content of the isoprene rubber of 20 to 80 mass% and the content of styrene-butadiene rubber of 20 to 60 mass% in 100 mass% of the rubber component and the content of the conductive carbon black of 1 to 10 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component.
