PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar light emitting unit having a superior light emitting efficiency and a high reliability in operation in which a prospect landscape from an interior space is assured during daytime (as seen from a bright side to a dark side), anti-peeping from outdoor is realized irrespective of day and night, light emitting toward the outdoor side is intensified in light emitting operation at night, and the indoor side enables light emitting to be restricted.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a planar light emitting unit having a magic mirror function in which dot particles for dispersing light are printed at any one surface of a planar body having light transmissivity, light of LED incident from the end surface of the planar body is reflected irregularly by the dot particles to cause entire surface of the planar body to emit light, the surfaces of dot particles having metallic thin film layer show black in color and opposite sides show white in color. |
