The present invention relates a data center and a server management apparatus which manages servers thereof. The server management apparatus of the present invention is configured to generate virtual servers based on a resource use rate and to control physical servers to be sequentially booted in accordance with the resource use rate and to be used. Therefore, the server management apparatus can efficiently use resources of the data center and reduce power consumed in the data center.
