PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-electrode horizontal fillet gas shielded arc welding method that materializes a favorable arc state and can provide a sound weld bead and a weld bead with equal leg lengths.SOLUTION: The two-electrode horizontal fillet gas shielded arc welding method uses a welding solid wire for a preceding electrode, and a welding flux-cored wire for a succeeding electrode. The flux-cored wire for the succeeding electrode contains in a flux, Ti oxides:3.2 - 4.2% in terms of TiO, Si oxide: 0.5 - 1.5% in terms of SiO, Zr oxide: 0.2 - 1.2% in terms of ZrO, Al oxide: 0.05 - 0.3% in terms of AlO, Fe oxide: 0.05 - 0.3% in terms of FeO, Na oxide and K oxide: 0.20 - 0.35% in total and in terms NaO and KO, F compound: 0.02 - 0.15% in terms of F, and metal Bi and Bi oxide: 0.01 - 0.03% in total and in terms of B. The two-electrode horizontal fillet gas shielded arc welding method is performed in such a condition that an interelectrode distance between the preceding electrode and the succeeding electrode is 10 - 40 mm, the wire diameter of the preceding electrode and that of the succeeding electrode are 1.2 - 2.0 mm, and the wire diameter of the preceding electrode is equal to the succeeding electrode or less. |
