摘要 <p>A battery charging device for an extra high voltage switchgear according to the present invention comprises: an extra high voltage applying unit which forms a main body of an extra high voltage switchgear, opens and closes each phase (A, B, C) of a power source side and each phase (R, S, T) of a load side, and applies an extra high voltage to each phase (A, B, C) of the power source side; a voltage reduction unit to receive the extra high voltage to each phase (A, B, C) applied by the extra high voltage applying unit to divide the extra high voltage by a constant ratio according to a capacitance reactance value; an auxiliary transformer which is connected to a voltage division unit in series, receives the divided voltage according to the division ratio according to the capacitance reactance value and an induction reactance value, and converts the received voltage according to a turn ratio of a primary side coil thereof and a secondary side coil thereof; a bridge diode connected to a secondary side circuit of the auxiliary transformer to receive a voltage from the secondary side circuit to rectify the voltage; a battery connected to a starting point and an ending point of the bridge diode to receive a charging current from the bridge diode to be charged at a constant voltage; and a charging control unit connected between the bridge diode and the battery to feedback-control the charging current while charging the battery to stabilize the charging voltage.</p>
