PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the damage of an ignition plug, while preventing the excessive supercharging of an internal combustion engine provided with an exhaust turbocharger.SOLUTION: When the pressure of intake air supercharged by an exhaust turbocharger exceeds a threshold value, fuel cutting for intercepting fuel supply to a cylinder is performed, and ignition cutting for stopping spark discharge in an ignition plug is performed. Further preferably, after starting the fuel cutting, spark ignition by the ignition plug is executed several time, and then, the ignition cutting is started. |
