PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable vacuum cleaner having a base plate with high cooling efficiency.SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes: a dust collection tank 2 for accumulating dust sucked from a hose connection part 1; a body case 4 detachably connected to an upper-face opening of the dust collection tank 2 and including a handle 5; a body unit 3 consisting of a motor base 19 that includes a suction port 18 facing the inside of the dust collection tank 2 and an electric blower 17 in the inside thereof; an airtight packing 10 between the dust collection tank 2 and the body unit 3; and a filter 21 provided at the lower side of the suction port 18 for preventing the dust sucked in the dust collection tank 2 from entering in the electric blower 17 side. An isolated space 51 for isolating circuit boards 27, 31, and 34 for controlling operation of the electric blower 17, from an exhaust passage is provided between the body case 4 and the motor base 19, and, in the isolated space 51, intake holes 36 and 39 are provided at the body case 4 and the motor base 19 respectively for communicating the outside air to the dust collection tank 2. |
