PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work vehicle capable of performing charging and a charging control method for the work vehicle.SOLUTION: A power transmission device includes an input axis, output axis, gear mechanism, energy generating motor, first clutch, and fixing means. An energy storage part stores energy generated by the energy generating motor. The gear mechanism includes a planetary gear mechanism. The planetary gear mechanism includes a first rotation element, a second rotation element, and a third rotation element which are different from each other. The first clutch is provided in a power transmission path between an engine and the first rotation element. The fixing means fixes or releases the second rotation element. The energy generating motor is connected to the third rotation element. A control part fixes the second rotation element, makes rotation speeds of the two rotation axes of the first clutch close to each other to engage the first clutch, and stores energy in the energy storage part by rotating the energy generating motor by the driving force of the engine. |
