PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can enhance interest of a game. ! SOLUTION: In a game machine provided with start storage means which can perform storage up to an upper limit number with entry of game balls in a start winning area of a game area as a start storage and control means which controls a variable display game executed on the basis of the start storage, the control means sets an average variation time of the variable display game to one shorter than a normal average variation time of the case that the start storage number is within a range of a first prescribed number from 1 when the start storage number stored to the start storage means is within a prescribed range, and sets the average variation time of the variable display game to one equal to or longer than the normal average variation time when the start storage number is smaller than a lower limit number within the prescribed range and larger than the first prescribed number. !
