<p>Disclosed is an apparatus for generating a positive (+) or negative (-) air pressure at several positions of a valve guide and a valve seat surface using an air gauge, and inspecting a machined surface of the valve seat and the valve guide using a pressure value due to air leakage. According to the apparatus, the air gauge includes a gauge head which has a center axis equal to the valve guide and has a center stem part inserted into the valve guide and a slope contact surface in contact with the valve seat. The center stem part includes a first air hole opened on the outer circumference of the center stem part. The slope contact surface includes: a second air hole having a center located on a first virtual circle; a third air hole which is located on a second virtual circle separated from the upper side of the first virtual circle; and a fourth air hole which is located on the third virtual circle separated from the first virtual circle toward the bottom as much as a separation distance of the second virtual circle as to the first virtual circle. When the center stem part is inserted into the valve guide and the slope contact surface comes in contact with the valve seat surface, the apparatus determines a fault if leakage occurs through the second air hole. When the third air hole and the fourth air hole are blocked partially by the valve seat surface to open a part thereof, the pressure value of an air pressure path connected to the third air hole and the pressure value of the fourth air hole are used in inspecting the valve seat surface.</p> |
