PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bend shape measurement device and a bend shape measurement method capable of measuring a bend shape of a bar-like body in a short time.SOLUTION: A bar-like body bend shape measurement device 20a includes: at least three edge detection parts 40a, 40b, and 40c installed keeping a predetermined distance and continuously detecting an edge position of a bar-like body 10 at a regular interval from two directions intersecting each other in a plane orthogonal to a conveying direction of the bar-like body 10; an edge data extraction part 73a for extracting edge data being a plurality of detection results among the results detected by the edge detection parts; a profile deriving part 74a for deriving a profile showing a bend in the longitudinal direction of the bar-like body 10 in each direction of two directions; and a synthesis profile deriving part 75a for deriving a synthesis profile showing the bend in the longitudinal direction of the bar-like body 10 by synthesizing the profiles in each direction of the two directions. |
