摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide one which can prevent deterioration of luminance when light emitted from an inclined surface 12B of a cross section wedge-like portion 12A in a light guide plate 12 is not reflected sufficiently, while achieving reduction in thickness and weight, and which can prevent occurrence of a bright part ("hot spot") and luminance distribution becoming uneven when light leaks from an edge part of an image display region 41.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes: a reflection sheet 11 which directly covers the entire inclined surface 12B and a region adjacent to the inclined surface 12B on an emission surface of a light guide plate 12; and an adhesive sheet 11A for reflection sheet fixation which is arranged in a region 19B facing the inclined surface 12B in a frame member 19 so as to fix the reflection sheet 11. On an optical sheet 16 arranged on the side closest to a base, an extension part 16A to an incident end surface side is provided. An edge part of an image display region 41 side on the reflection sheet 11 is directly covered by the extension part 16A.</p>
