<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caisson infilling material-charging method capable of preventing occurrence of turbidity of seawater by the infilling material, and capable of preventing reduction in a weight per unit volume caused by fall through water, of the infilling material, in a case that slag or the like is used as the infilling material of a caisson.SOLUTION: A caisson infilling material-charging method: installs a charging pipe 10 so that a lower end of the pipe 10 extends up to the vicinity of a bottom part BT of the caisson CA, in the inside of the caisson CA; injects air into a lower part of the charging pipe from an opening/closing type cover part so that water does not enter from the lower end 10a of the charging pipe and so as to close the opening/closing type cover part 20 provided in the inside of the charging pipe; charges the infilling material FM from an upper end of the charging pipe; opens the opening/closing type cover part by pressure by a dead weight of the charged infilling material; drops the infilling material through the air in the charging pipe; and discharges the infilling material to the bottom part of the caisson from the lower end of the charging pipe. Next, the caisson infilling material-charging method repeats injection of the air and charging of the infilling material after pulling up the charging pipe by a predetermined height.</p> |
