<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket wrench for an impact wrench capable of reducing combined stress of an anvil caused by impact during operation, and improving durability of the anvil.SOLUTION: When used, a socket wrench 1a for an impact wrench is fitted to an impact wrench of the type where normal stress and torsional stress are applied as combined stress, due to an impact during operation, to the vicinity of corner parts of a square shank part in connection curved surfaces between the square shank part and a columnar part of an anvil. In the socket wrench for an impact wrench, there are formed void parts 2 for impact avoidance capable of avoiding, during operation of the socket wrench 1a, the impact of insertion side edge surfaces 24 of the socket wrench 1a on the vicinity of the corner parts of the square shank part in the connection curved surfaces of the anvil. An embodiment of the void part 2 for impact avoidance is a recess 2a having a contour of a partially spherical surface, formed at each of four insertion side corner parts 25 of the socket wrench 1a, thus reducing the combined stress of the anvil and improving durability of the anvil.</p> |
