<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal seal capable of ensuring high sealability by increasing surface pressure even with low fastening force.SOLUTION: A metal seal includes: a metal outer jacket 3 having a C-shape cross section, contacting with two parallel planes 1, 2 opposite to each other; a metal inner jacket 4 inserted into the inside of the outer jacket 3; and a resilient coil spring 5 housing inside the inner jacket 4 and performing resilient energization to the outer jacket 3 in a diameter extending direction through the inner jacket 4. An outer peripheral surface 6 of the outer jacket 3 has a smooth arc-shaped cross section. The inner jacket 4 has a corner part C pressing a seal portion S from an inner peripheral surface 7 in the diameter extending direction.</p> |
