According to an embodiment of the present invention, a server for providing an electronic document having converted into images comprises: a document reception unit which receives an electronic document from the outside; a document-image conversion unit which converts content of the electronic document into an image; and an image transmission unit which transmits the converted image to a user terminal when the electronic document is requested to be read by the user terminal.
